Yogi Sivadas (Sugathakumar Narayanan Nair) founded Kailash Tribal School of Yoga and Holistic Health in 2002. Since 1992 he has taught people from around the world and traveled throughout India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, China, Srilanka, Oman, Jordan, Israel, Palestine, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Vatican, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Austria, Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Iceland, Russia, Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Croatia and Hungary. For most of the year he teaches all classes at his school in Dharamsala Himalayas.
He is an Experienced Advanced Yoga Teacher E-RYT 500, also a Registered Pregnancy Yoga Teacher RPYT and Registered Childrens Yoga Teacher RCYT as per standards of Yoga Alliance USA. He is a recognized Senior Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals. Yogi Sivadas is also a gifted and established healer and teaches and practices Holistic Ayurveda, Reiki, Sound Healing and Meditation.
He began learning traditional yoga as a child in Kerala, with an early introduction to traditional Ayurveda practices. As a teenager, Yogi Sivadas left home to continue his quest for deeper knowledge, traveling throughout India and the neighboring countries.
He started teaching yoga from 1992, focusing on yoga philosophy, mysticism and holistic healing and is strongly influenced by the teachings of Swami Sivananda of Rishikesh, B K S Iyengar and Osho.
After twelve years of exploring throughout out India, he settled in the powerful Himalayas. He founded the Kailash Tribal School of Yoga and Holistic Healing in 2002 after completing the International Sivananda Teacher Training certification in Kerala.
He continues to study all aspects of yoga, completing the Saddhana Intensive and Advanced Teacher Training course with the Sivananda Institution. He also pursued advanced yogic studies and a yoga therapy course with Yoga Vidyadham Nasik Maharastra, as well as various teachers of the Mysore tradition.
Through the Kailash Tribal School of Yoga and Holistic Healing he fulfills his passion for sharing his knowledge and his holistic approach to life.
