Tribal Sun Vinyasa Yoga

This class is aimed at students who want a strong energizing physical workout and incorporates traditional knowledge and therapeutic aspects of yoga. Students begin by warming up with two modified versions of Sun Salutations. The salutations energize and warm up the body for the practice. Once warmed up, the program starts with standing Asanas, followed by sitting Asanas, twists, back bends and inversions. It also incorporates Vinyasa flows to offer a complete development of the chest muscles and stretch the spine. It will balance the solar energy to prepare tor your day. Ayurvedic yogic lifestyle will be also taught to adapt accordingly to each individual students.

Pranayama, Mudras and Bandhas

Kailash Tribal Yoga School, also offer courses on techniques of Pranayama, Mudras and Bandhas. These techniques are taught according to the ancient texts (Hatha Yoga Pradeepika & Gheranda Samhita) with ample amount of scientific explanations from which the student will gain an understanding of how these techniques work on the body and mind.

Pranayama, Mudras and Bandha techniques are taught separate from the Asana classes. During Teacher Training Programs, classes are only open for the public with an advanced booking based on availability.

Tribal Moon Hatha Yoga

This class is suitable for beginner through advanced students. It offers maximum traditional knowledge and integrates therapeutic values to balance, calm, and relax. The class begins with modified traditional Sun and Moon Salutations to energize, harmonize and balance the body and mind and increase stamina.

The second segment of the class aims to increase flexibility through stretching and aid in muscle toning and development. This is accomplished through a series of hand and leg raises, movements involving twisting, chest and shoulder opening, pelvic opening stretches and finally exercises to increase flexibility, strength and stability of the spine. The third segment of the class consists of the traditional classical series of positions to achieve maximum benefit of the yoga Asanas according to each student’s individual needs. Ayurvedic yogic lifestyle will be also taught to adapt accordingly to each individual students.
